Description

This complete baby care device is a 1080p baby monitor with a built-in moonlight soother. In addition to helping parents keep their little ones safe and sound, it soothes your little one right to sleep.

The moonlight soother has three light functions: moonlight, lightshow, and nightlight. The moonlight function projects beautiful moon and stars while the lightshow stimulates baby’s eye development by animating the projections. Finally, the nightlight provides privacy when needed by turning the camera up to the ceiling while projecting the moonlight.

Other features of the iBaby Care M7 include a full collection of sensors, including brand-new, never before seen smart sensors. The air, temperature, and humidity sensors provides parents reports of the baby room environment. Loved ones will always know their little one is comfortable without stepping into the room.

The monitor also has sound and motion sensors that send alerts to the iBaby Care App the moment they are activated and the smart smell sensors detect soiled garments and dirty nappies and send alerts when it’s time for a change.

  • Quick Start Guide

When I speak to my baby from the app, the sound from the monitor’s speaker is too low.

There is a quick fix to this. Open Media Player, and play any song. While the song is being played, turn up the volume. This will reset the speaker volume. Wait 10 seconds then click ‘Speak.’ The volume should be back to normal.

I hear static sound or background noise from the monitor.

Static sound can appear for two reasons: either there is a network connectivity issue when the Wi-FI signal is too low, or there is interference from other devices, such as a TV, radio, etc. This issue will usually disappear if you reset the video monitor. To do that, delete the camera from the app, reset the monitor and add the camera again. Remember to do this as close to the router as you can, even if you are going to move the monitor to another room.

I hear echo from the monitor when the speaker is on.

The echoing sound appears when the baby monitor is in close proximity to the functioning iBaby Care app – ie your smartphone or tablet. When you place the mobile device further away from the monitor, the echo will disappear. The issue can also appear if you press the ‘Listen’ and ‘Speak’ buttons at the same time, so avoid pressing those simultaneously.

The App just stays on a 'Loading' Page.

Please make sure if you are using a dual band router, that the broadcast is set to 2.4Ghz. Please make sure that your Wi-Fi name and password are no more than 16 characters long, and both contain ONLY numbers and letters.

The temperature and humidity is not showing through the app.

Make sure the pins on the bottom of the monitor align exactly with the base of the monitor then log out from the app. Afterwards, log back in and give it a moment to load. If you run into issues, please contact the iBaby Support Team.

Why do I keep getting an error message when I invite additional users to my camera?

Please note only 1 person can be the Account Owner for each monitor. All other users are Invited Users/Viewers. Note also that each user will need to register & create their own accounts. In order to invite additional users/viewers, send an invite through the app. There will be no confirmation e-mail, rather the user will be able to log into their account and load the video feed.

My monitor frequently disconnects, the video freezes or is delayed, has lag time etc. What happened?

When other items share the same Wi-Fi connection, this can cause the signal strength to decrease when running or using the iBaby Monitor. For this, we recommend performing a Speed Test to determine your internet connection speed. One way to do a Speed Test is by downloading the OOKLA app from the App or Play Store and choose Begin Test. Your upload speed is the main factor of your video quality. The upload speed needs to be at least 2.4mbps to establish a video speed, anything lower than this will cause the issues described above.

The video display is only showing in black and white even during the daytime, why?

Darker rooms will cause the video display to show in black & white. If this is not the case, check your display settings for Night Vision and make sure it is set to AUTO, which should restore the colour.

What do the various status light combinations mean?

The status light on the back of the monitor can output a total of three combinations with the following meanings:

  • Intermitting red and green lights flashing: The monitor is starting up or rebooting
  • Solid red light: startup successful, but the monitor is not connected to Wi-Fi
  • Solid green light: startup successful, and the monitor is now connected to Wi-Fi.

How do I reset my iBaby Baby Monitor to default factory settings?

Press and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the camera until the light starts to flash both green and red. Wait 30 seconds and the monitor should be reset to factory settings.

My app is stuck at installation screen, what should I do?

  1. Place the iBaby monitor within 15 feet of your wireless router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal during installation.
  2. Reboot the router by unplugging the power adapter from the wall outlet for 10 seconds. Once the router is powered back on, wait for all indicating lights and symbols on the router to turn on. This process may take up to 1 minute. Once the router is ready, you may proceed to reconnect the iBaby monitor.
  3. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to your home Wi-Fi.
  4. Quit the “iBaby Care” app completely and than re-launch it again
  5. Re-install your iBaby monitor and make sure that the USB cable is securely attached to your iBaby monitor and your mobile device during setup.
  6. If the method above is unable to resolve your issue, please contact the iBaby customer service at ibabylabs.com.

My live video is stuck on ‘loading’ phase.

  1. Make sure that your iBaby monitor is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
  2. Make sure that your mobile device has sufficient internet connection
  3. Quit the iBaby Care App completely
  4. Relaunch the iBaby Care App.

Why don't I have the ‘Delete Camera’ option?

If you do not see the “Delete Camera” option, it means that you are not the primary host of the camera. Only host has the option to delete cameras.
